Born from the conviction that sport is a major strategic lever for companies, governments and territories, ALP Sport supports actors in the sports ecosystem in their development and value creation.

Our strength lies in a deep understanding of the two worlds we connect: that of sport, with its rights holders, federations, leagues and competitions, and that of private and public decision-makers who wish to engage through sport.

Drawing on more than 10 years of strategic consulting for senior executives and governments, the ALP Sport team combines this expertise with nearly 40 years of cumulative experience in sports business.

ALP Sport is distinguished by an integrated approach covering the entire sports business value chain. Where the market offers fragmented specialists, we deliver a turnkey solution.

Strategy

We support institutional and public actors in developing public policies around sports business, sport-health, sport-tourism and school sport. We also advise on sports diplomacy strategies: candidacies for major international events, governance structuring and operational management of organising committees. We advise companies on their overall sports strategy and rights holders on their commercialisation and development strategy.

Case: States & Institutions

A West African government wishes to structure its national sports policy and position the country as a host for international competitions. ALP Sport produces a diagnostic of the ecosystem, formulates strategic recommendations and supports the candidacy to host a major sporting event, from drafting the bid to negotiating with the international federation.

Case: Companies

An SBF 120 industrial group wishes to make sport a pillar of its brand strategy and CSR policy. ALP Sport carries out a positioning audit, identifies the most coherent disciplines and builds a multi-year strategic plan articulating sponsorship, internal activation and territorial engagement, with clear performance indicators at each stage.

Financing & Structuring

We support rights holders in seeking financial partners (title sponsors, official sponsors, naming partners) by leveraging direct access to decision-makers at CAC 40 and SBF 120 groups. Beyond sponsorship, we advise investors in identifying and acquiring sports assets, and support rights holders in creating commercial structures to value their assets with funds and private banks.

A professional league is seeking a title sponsor for its flagship competition. ALP Sport defines the prospecting strategy, qualifies targets among major companies, designs bespoke presentation materials, organises the roadshow with decision-makers and manages negotiations through to contract signature.
